Christian
Education encourages members to involve their hearts, minds and souls in
developing their spiritual lives. There are education opportunities
for all ages at Cocoa Presbyterian Church from Nursery through Older Adults.

Nursery
led by Lisa Friend, meets in Room 41 on Sunday mornings
from 9:15 a.m. to noon. Childcare is provided while parents attend worship and
other church functions. For toddlers, the "TODDLERS AND
TWOS" curriculum helps the children to grow in their faith as they
grow in years. Through Bible stories, music and games they learn how to
recognize themselves as God's children. |

Pre K
& K led by Terri Friend, meets in Room 46 on Sunday mornings at
9:15 a.m. The "WE BELIEVE" curriculum tells the stories of our
faith in a variety of interactive ways so that the children receive an
understanding that God is with them, over them and in them. With the
use of creative take-home sheets, parents can reinforce what their child
has learned in Sunday School. |

Grade led by Bill Moore, meets in Room 42 on Sunday mornings at
9:15 a.m.
Each week, the lessons of "EXPLORING FAITH" immerses the
children in Bible stories.......they sign, act out and draw Bible verses
that bring the Bible to life! |

3rd to 5th
Grade led by Judy Keener & Lydia Moore, meets in Room 32 on Sunday
mornings at 9:15 a.m., where THE BIBLE ZONE LIVE" is created. Each
week the children are taken back to biblical times so they can see, hear
and participate in the Bible story. This fun approach helps them
learn the Bible and equips them with a solid Christian foundation that
guides them to make smart choices. |

CHILDREN'S
CHURCH ~ Children ages
4 years and older come together in the Sanctuary
for the first portion of our Sunday Worship Service, which includes a
special children's lesson, and return to classroom 42 for Bible
stories, music and learning how much God loves them. Evelyn West
coordinates a dedicated and talented group of teachers who rotate leading
the class. |
