KERYGMA
STUDY meets
in Room 33 and is currently studying THE PROPHETS. This advance
Bible study, covering the major and minor prophets, gives insight
into the lives and times of God's messengers. By exploring these
books, members develop skills in interpreting scripture and promoting
their Christian growth.
THE
BOOK OF ACTS, led by Mike Lawhon, meets in Room 26. This is
an in-depth study of the early Church, the Holy Spirit and The
Great Commission. Through readings and discussion, each week the
class experiences what it was like to be a Christian in the first century
and how the principles still apply in today's world.
THE PRESENT WORD, led by Trell Adams, meets in Room 44 at
9:00am. Each week there is a theme based upon the Lectionary and
after lively discussions the class applies what they have learned to their
daily lives. This class begins earlier than the other Sunday
School classes so that those in the Choir or Handbells can participate.
